Resumo

Esse texto da filósofa Emilie Hache prefaceia a coletânea Reclaim Ecofeminism [ed. Cambourakis], lançada na França, em 2016, e organizada pela própria Emilie tem a tarefa de trazer sua perspectiva acadêmica dissidente – de uma academia muito masculina, muito branca, muito humanista, muito francesa. Emilie fez a aguda tarefa de levar aos olhos dos intelectuais franceses um poderoso recorte do pensamento ecológico, feminista e mulherista dos anos 1970 e 1980 que havia sido deliberadamente obliterado por essa casta. Enquanto filósofa e acadêmica, traduzir e publicar textos ecofeministas, ainda que tardiamente, em um território que sempre foi hostil a eles, foi um marco na história intelectual da França, foi a demarcação de um lugar político reivindicado por mulheres radicalmente conscientes da exploração dos recursos da Terra pelo capitalismo patriarcal, assim como é o próprio ecofeminismo: é sobre política, mas não apenas.
