Dos movimientos y continuidad humana-animal:
Posiciones, suposiciones, contradicciones.
Resumo
Esse artigo trata sobre as imagens, representações e tratamento dos animais em dois movimentos: o movimento de bem estar/direitos/liberação animal - o movimento pelos animais, para resumir- e o movimento deep green/ecologia profunda. Mais especificamente, se quer observar a forma em que cada um desses movimentos chega a um acordo com - ou se abstém de chegar a um acordo com - a comunidade natural existente entre os animais e os seres humanos.
Sem importar como se tipifica cada movimentos, qualquer definição portará algum tipo de generalização. Isso é inevitável, já que há pessoas, entre elas ecofeministas (Warren, 1994), que se autodefiniriam como defensores dos animais, assim como o deep green.
