Resumo

A compilação de ensaios apresentando Lisa Kemmerer mostra a diversidade que existe no feminismo e animalidade para abordar a questão dos animais não-humanos, além de tornar explícita a contribuição fundamental das mulheres à animal libertação movimento ambos no espaço teórico e o espaço prático - o ativismo-. Kemmerer acusou uma alarmante falta de reconhecimento de trabalho realizado (desde a primeira onda do feminismo) que levaram ativistas em tudo em relação ao reconhecimento dos animais não-humanos como sujeitos que merecem respeito e consideração.
