Animality in exomoral sense
Keywords:
animal, moral, ethics, NietzscheAbstract
Both the traditional positions of the Animal Ethics as the most recent Critical Animal Studies have starred in the last two decades an ideological confrontation around the notion of the animal that, instead of allowing to overcome categorizations of what is generally considered an aggressive and decrepit humanism, it consolidates, while hindering the emergence of any variant with sufficient radicalism and coherence to break the field of moral sense. No discipline seems to defy the rationalistic foundation neither of the property relations between human and non-human animals, nor of the practicality, usefulness, or any other type of purposes of the living. Moreover, we will be more decisive only when we are willing to recognize in all this an exomoral origin, an accidental one, and return, having actually left the needs of metaphysics, to this same interpretative production of the animal.
