Uma leitura ecócrita

As obras de Jorge Luis Borges são marcadas pelas pegadas de animais não humanos, entre os quais se destacam os tigres. Este artigo constitui uma leitura dos tigres de Borges - e dos Borges dos tigres - de uma perspectiva ecocrítica, focada na relação que o autor e suas vozes poéticas e narrativas estabelecem com outros sujeitos animais. Partindo da premissa de que diversos textos de Borges desconstroem e descolonizam a dicotomia humano-animal, este artigo busca compreender os papéis da relação homem-tigre na obra do autor, os discursos históricos, científicos e epistemológicos que promovem e limitam essa relação, e as conexões entre o tigre e os temas fundamentais como a divindade, o infinito e a linguagem. Assim, o objetivo principal desta análise é examinar as relações interespécies e subjetividades humanas e não humanas na literatura de Jorge Luis Borges.
